Common Thread responds to the alarming and under-reported crime of sex trafficking. The organization is aimed at supporting the recovery of survivors, with offices based in central Texas and operations across 26 counties.

Common Thread provides a protective road to recovery while helping survivors build and maintaining strong, trusting relationships.

Services

Common Thread partners with other community organizations to help establish a strong network of advocacy for clients. Ensuring security and creating safety plans, our staff offer services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for domestic and foreign survivors of sex trafficking. These services include:

  • Immediate in-field response
  • Relationship-focused services
  • Continuous long-term mentorship
  • Individualized safety planning
  • Help with interviews and appointments
  • Connection to community support

Eligibility

Survivors of trafficking can receive services through Common Thread if they are 21 years of age or younger and live in one of the following counties:
